Aviralex™ is a sulphate-based solution with copper as a trace metal in an aqueous herbal base. Aviralex contains the herb Lemon Balm and ammoniated acid in deionised water.

It is important to note that the Aviralex molecule has both an acid group and Sulphur molecule attached and that the formulation process is an essential factor in the makeup of the product. It is this combined effect that causes the Aviralex to penetrate through the membrane of the herpes virus, hence the destruction of the virus on contact.

This study included a double-blind controlled trial comparing Aviralex to herpes prescription remedies and placebos. The study compared the time it takes for each patient to form a scab and to heal. The subject's lesions dried up in six hours and new skin appeared in 72 hours with Aviralex.

This combination of the ingredients in the Aviralex preparation have been proven to be highly successful:

Sulphur
One of the main ingredients, is an age-old remedy used against infections. This is also the basis of the modern antibiotic. The Sulphate molecule is an important component of the Aviralex solution.

Lemon Balm's leaves
The leaves, stems and flowers of the Lemon Balm have been used medicinally since Roman Times. Lemon Balm is widely used as an all-natural therapy to suppress HSV-1 and HSV-2. The healing and soothing properties in Lemon Balm have been proven over centuries to dramatically reduce the duration of inflammation and pain commonly associated with HSV. Flavonoids polyphenolics and other compounds appear to be responsible for Lemon Balm's anti-herpes actions.

SJW (Saint John's Wort)
St. John's Wort has been shown to have dramatic antiviral activity. Experiments, both in test tubes and in animals, have indicated that two of the active chemicals in the plant, Hypericum and pseudohypericin, are clearly effective against a number of retroviruses, including HSV-1 and HSV-2.

There are 40-60 applications in one bottle, and in many cases,

The application is a very important part of the healing process with Aviralex. 
Please read the directions enclosed before using.

•    Apply Aviralex when your lesion is active and your sore is open. Do not apply when you feel the tingling or stinging that occurs before an outbreak. Do not apply when you have blisters. You must wait for the blisters to break open, as Aviralex must penetrate into the skin.
•    Apply Aviralex to clean and dry skin. If you have other products on your lesion make sure to remove them.
•    Use a clean cotton swab to apply Aviralex directly to the affected area, allow the area to air dry. You only need to apply Aviralex once per outbreak.
•    Allow the scabs formed by Aviralex to heal completely and on their own, do not scratch! Let the scabs fall off on their own.

  If you feel stinging do not be alarmed, it is Aviralex penetrating the skin and taking effect. If the stinging is too severe, simply wash the area with soap and water.
